The Noosa Outrigger Canoe Club is a vibrant, community-driven paddling club located in the heart of Noosa, Queensland. I was engaged to design and develop a modern, easy-to-navigate website that would reflect the club’s dynamic spirit and make online engagement effortless for both members and visitors.
The site features a clean, sophisticated design with a strong visual connection to Noosa’s stunning waterways and outrigging culture. Built with industry best practices and mobile responsiveness in mind, the website ensures a seamless experience across all devices.
A key priority was making the website easy for volunteers to manage. To support this, I implemented a user-friendly content management system that allows non-technical users to update content, post announcements, and manage events independently.
Additional features include:
- Streamlined online membership registration, allowing new and returning paddlers to join with ease.
- Dedicated pages for club history, values, mission, and vision through to 2027.
- A “Come and Try” section to welcome newcomers and encourage community involvement.
- Detailed outlines of the club’s inclusive values, training pathways, and regatta participation.
The website effectively showcases the club’s heritage – dating back to 1985 – while supporting its growth goals and community engagement into the future.
