Hello, I’m Matt Parsons, the founder of Button Web Design, which I launched in 2011 after many years of experience in the industry.
My journey into web design began back in 1995, during the era of dial-up modems, when a friend introduced me to something revolutionary called ‘The Internet.’ I still have my first website stored on an old floppy disk somewhere.
Before starting Button Web Design, I spent years at a prominent web development agency, working as an interface designer, front-end developer, and project manager. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with renowned companies like Rolls Royce, Heinz, Kawasaki, as well as numerous SMEs and charities worldwide. My experience spans a wide range of industries, including local government projects, intranet/extranet development, print design, fashion and product design, touchscreen kiosk interfaces, and, of course, web design and development.
My clients often attribute the success of our web projects to a combination of practical experience, business acumen, and a commitment to simplicity. I believe that simple solutions not only help clients get the most out of their budgets but also ensure that their message is communicated clearly. I’m also known for my ability to explain the technical aspects of web development in a way that’s easy for non-technical clients to understand.
In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking and outrigger canoe paddling with my wife and daughter.
